40 Column Report Module

40COLREP is a utility designed to produce 3 simple reports for use on a 40 column printer. It was originally designed for TouchNET and later replaced by [color=red:37pfkt11][u:37pfkt11][b:37pfkt11]Quick Reports[/b:37pfkt11][/u:37pfkt11][/color:37pfkt11][/url:37pfkt11] for TouchPRO. Quick Reports brought a lot of enhancement to this simple utility, but this utility is still available for those customers who were using v3.xx – v4.xx TouchNET and have upgraded to v5.xx – v6.xx TouchPRO.
This utility is commonly used as a shell from TouchNET/PRO to provide quick access to sales reports. The reports available are:
1. Hourly Sales Report
2. Itemized PLU Sales Report
3. Group Sales ReportNote: All reports use GROSS sales!
InstallationInstallation is quite simple. Simply place the executable (40COLREP.EXE) in the TOOLS directory. (Assuming that you have a TOOLS directory in your PATH. If you do not, put the executable in another appropriate directory in your PATH). Make sure you download the proper version of 40COLREP (dependent on your version of TouchPRO/TouchNET) from our download area.
SYNTAX: 40ColRep /Date=date /Port=port /Type=type {/Node=node}
* date= YYMMDD format for day to print report for, or ‘TODAY’ for todays date or ‘YESTERDAY’ for yesterdays date. Example: ‘/Date=TODAY’
* port= device to print report to Must be: COM1,COM2,COM3,COM4,LPT1,LPT2,or LPT3 (Port may also be ‘NONE’ for ListIt.EXE use)
* type= Type of report to create. Must be: HOUR, GROUP, or ITEM
* node= Node to mask reports to (Optional)Example: 40ColRep /Date=921225 /Port=COM2 /Type=GROUP Will print to COM2: a Group Report for 12/25/92
Note: Must be run from operational Directory!
