    CyberSerial Dual PCI Board

CybSerDualBx.jpg (19678 bytes)SIIG manufactures a two serial port board that can be used with any computer using PCI slots to provide two additional serial ports.  A software driver is required, but the board can be used with DOS or Windows.
    DOS

A DOS driver, CB20XPC.EXE must be used to configure the board on bootup.  Copy this driver into the Tools directory if not already present and insert the command CB20XPC immediately after the first Path statement in the Autoexec.Bat.  This driver should be loaded prior to Server, Mode, or any other commands that access or configure these ports.  No change to CMOS settings are required.

Testing has shown some problem in using these ports with communication programs, such as CoSessions, so a modem should not be used with this card.  However, they work fine with either local or global printers.
    Windows

Install the board and bootup the computer.  No change to CMOS settings are required.  If Windows detects the board on bootup, install the appropriate driver from the floppy disk included with the board.  If Windows does not detect it on bootup, run Add New Hardware from the Control Panel and install the appropriate driver from the floppy.
