The Star NX-2450 is an 80 column color dot-matrix printer.  It emulates the Epson LQ-860.  See the Programming section for details on setting the internal options.
Programming

Programming is done as follows:

  1. Power up the printer while holding down the FONT and PAPER buttons.
  2. Use the FONT and PAPER buttons to select the correct option.  The FONT button changes the letter and the PAPER button changes the number.  Lights to show the current option are on the display.
  3. Press READY to toggle the option.  The Ready Light shows if the option is currently on or off.
  4. When all options are set press the PAPER button while holding down the FONT button.  The printer is now ready to use.

Options

80 column mode – C4 ON, C5 ON
condensed mode – C4 OFF, C5 OFF
