TMFLogo is a program designed to take a bitmap(BMP) image and download it to an Epson TM-T88II printer. It runs in Windows95.
Installation
There is no actual installation needed for this program. The program comes as a self-extracting zip file. When run, it will ask for a directory name to install into. It is recommended that you specify TMFLogo instead of the default WindowsTemp. You can then create an icon to run the executable from that directory. Any graphic images to be used will need to be copied into the directory specified at install.
Graphic Image SpecificationsTMFLogo requires that the graphic image conform to the following rules:
* It must be black and white.
* It must be in bitmap(BMP) format. For advanced graphic programs, use the RGB Encoding subformat when saving.
* The width can’t exceed 480 pixels.
* The height can’t exceed 384 pixels.
* The file size can’t exceed 12K.When printed, the image will be left adjusted. A graphic format of 480X160 is optimal as it will span the entire width of the paper, allowing the designer to easily center the graphic. However, if a taller image is required the width can be decreased as necessary to conform to the 12K file size limit.
ImportingTMFLogo refers to this process as uploading, but the image is actually being downloaded to the printer. To avoid confusion (or to make it worse), this document will refer to it as importing. The steps that follow assume that the image to be imported has already been created and placed in the TMFLOGO directory.
1. From My Computer Navigate to the TMCU Backup directory. From TMCU Backup navigate to Epson Logo Loader directory. Run the application TMFLogo. If any message window appears click OK. The window should be TM Flash Logo Setup with the setup tab open.

2. Verify that Printer Name is set to TM-T88II and the Port Name is set to the port the printer is plugged into.
3. Select the Bitmap Selection tab.

6. Verify that the numeral located in front of the desired image is highlighted, then select Upload.
7. Click Yes on the verify screen.
8. The import will take about 30 seconds.
9. Click Logo Printout tab and to run a test print on the printer click Print. If it is a small logo you may have to advance the paper with the feed button. When it is complete. Exit the program and you are done.
