    Husky Eprom Burner

    To burn EPROMS you must run the Husky Eprom Burner program, select the correct device, check to make sure the device is blank, read in the correct program to load, load the device(s), then verify the EPROM.

      1. Choose Husky from the choose menu or cd to husky directory and run Husky
      2. Select device
            a. device select
            b. choose library and device
            c. EPRXXX EPROM library
            d. BOOT ROMS are device 55, AM27C040, located by hitting END to go to
                the end of the list then arrow up one.
      3. BLANK CHECK DEVICE, will see a stairstep graph showing progress. Also
          will display on the bottom if device is failing.
      4. READ FORMATTED FILE
            a. select binary format
            b. for BOOT ROMS page down, use the arrow keys to highlight
              appropriate file name (BOOT205 etc.)
      5. select PROGRAM DEVICE. You will see a stairstep graph showing  progress. If the EPROM programs properly the stairstep will complete then a verify device program will run. If succesful the program will say device programmed and verified.

    NOTES


    only insert or remove CHIPS, DEVICES, EPROMS when ready light  is on. Any number of devices can be programmed, all 4 slots do not have to be full. Cable to the system is touchy.
