    Specifications

    Menu Pages/Groups
There are 44 user defineable Menu/Groups Pages using auto PLUs. These pages are in addition to the bar pages, but will be empty and up to the user to fill in (or the CST). These pages are intended for the use of main menu items. e.g. Filet Diane, not medium rare

These pages will be populated using menu groups 5 – 48.

    Pizza Features
There are 4 pre-defined Pizza sizes. The Pizza Pages do not use Auto PLU’s, to change the topping descriptions, you must use Edit Mode. This application defaults to the Pizza Page when beginning an order.

            * Sizes – this application supports 4 Sizes of Pizza.
            * Crusts – this application supports 4 different types of Crusts for each Size.
            * Toppings – you may have up to 20 toppings for each of the 4 Pizza Sizes.
            * Specialty Pizza’s – you may have up to 8 different Specialty Pizza types for each Pizza Size.
            * Split Pizzas – at the beginning of the Pizza order only, you may select if it is a Split Pizza, and order toppings and modifiers seperately for each half.
            * Inventory – This application supports Touch Menus Basic Inventory. It has seperate PLU’s to increment and decrement toppings.
            * Pricing –
o Topping Charge – for each size of Pizza there is a “Topping Charge” PLU, so you have 4 Topping Charges. This is the one PLU that is responsible for charging for the total number of toppings on each Size Pizza and will be the only PLU that is used to maintain the pricing of each size topping. By having 4 seperate Topping Charges, you may have a different topping price for each Pizza Size. For example, you may charge $.90 for all Medium Toppings and charge $1.10 for all Large Toppings. It charges the same amount for all Toppings of the same size.
o Substitutions with no price effect are incorporated. For example, if you order a Specialty Pizza and take off the Olives and add Green Peppers, it will be the same price.
o Pricing the Greatest Half prices the most expensive half of the Split Pizza, for example, if they order 3 toppings on one half and 4 toppings on the other half, it will charge for a 4 topping pizza.

NOTE: In order for this application to support Inventory, there are 6 pages for each size of pizza and 4 PLU’s relating to each topping. For every Pizza Topping PLU there is an “ADD full Topping,” “NO full Topping,” “ADD Half Topping,” and a “NO Half Topping,” in the Product Database. This is so that it may increment and decrement your inventory appropriately on Split Pizzas and Substitutions. When adding or changing a PLU, you will have to use edit mode and change it in 6 places. When setting up your inventory you will have 4 entries for each topping for each size (e.g., if you have a Sausage Topping for all pizzas, you will have 16 entries of Sausage). You do not put any prices here!

NOTE on Pricing: The price of the pizza is determined by ordering a “Base” price (which is the Size/Crust) first, then by each additional topping. Every pizza must have at least one topping; each pizza has at least one Topping Charge. To arrive at the the selling price of a one topping pizza, add the price of the Size/Crust plus the Topping Charge.

NOTE on Specialty Pizza’s: The Specialty Pizza is ordered just like a regular topping: you select the Size/Crust and then you choose the Specialty Pizza type. Since all Pizza’s will order at least one Topping Charge, the Specialty Pizza also has a seperate price that is entered into the PLU. price is calculated by the Price of the Size/Crust, plus the price of one Topping Charge, plus the price of : deduct the price of 1 topping and add the base(crust) price.

    Bar Pages/Groups
There is a full bar setup. It includes the following Auto PLU Pages/Windows:
