    Starting with version 2.27, Win-EZ Manager added a feature to backup a client’s data to the dealer’s server. The following outlines the steps needed to use this feature.

    [b:3dy661r0]Setting up a Win-EZ Dealer Server:
    Step 1 (on dealers PC):
    [/b:3dy661r0]From Settings> Edit Profile> select the Machine tab, and ensure that the Machine Type is set to Dealer Server. Select the Corporate tab. Select the export button; this will create a key file that can be imported into each site that you install.

    From Settings> Edit Profile> select the Machine tab, and ensure that the Machine Type is set to File Server. Select the Corporate tab.
    Select the Import button next to the “Dealer Key” message. The dialog will ask for the key exported in step 1.
    Check the “Send Updates” check box, and select the time for the backup to occur.
    Enter a site ID; this is a string used to identify the site in the list on the dealer PC (“Pizza Den #1” for example)
    Select the export button; this will create a key file that can be imported into the dealer pc.

    Create a folder for this client if one does not already exist.
    From Settings> Edit Profile> select the Corporate tab.
    Select the Import button. The dialog will ask for the key exported in step 2, and then for the folder that the clients data is to be stored in.
