Maybe im off base here but have been thinking about this for a couple of days. Is it possible to implement a CC return button at the terminal? Here is my scenario……..A customer comes back to the site 2 days after they have had dinner there and there is some kind of a problem with the CC transaction and a return needs to be run. A manual return is ok but if we can run a return from the terminal and immediately print a credit slip for the customer, that would be awesome. My Sushi Restaurant had this happen recently and although, the manual return was printed from BOH, they were untrusting of the process and mainly because  they got a receipt on an 8 1/2 X 11 piece of paper rather than what commonly looks like a credit slip. CC return at the terminal would be slick.
