MemberCash Management
This report/data collection module was designed to collect transactions other than sales in order to reconcile at a store level.
Technical
In order to reconcile the following formula is used:
Total to Account for
(+) Gift Certificates Sold
(+) Paid Ins
(+) Any Non-Sales Medias (if option is enabled)
(-) Paid Outs
(-) Refunds
(-) Gift Certificates Redeemed
(-) Customer Debit
(-) Credit Card Settlements
====================
(Total to Deposit
(-) Actual Deposits
====================
(Over/Short
The amounts are collected as follows:
Total to Account for This figure comes from the POS. It is Gross Sales.
Gift Certificates Sold A Cash Management transaction.
Paid Ins A Cash Management transaction.
Non-Sales Medias Collected from the POS.
Paid Outs A Cash Management transaction.
Refunds A Cash Management transaction.
Gift Certificates Redeemed A Cash Management transaction.
Customer Debit Collected from the POS. (Hard coded media)
Credit Card Settlements A Cash Management transaction.
Actual Deposits A Cash Management transaction.It does not rely on most media information collected at the POS for reconciling. The only media used from the POS is Customer Debit, a hard coded media that is not as likely to be incorrectly used. The reason for not using media information from the POS is the fact that often a check is closed to the wrong media type.
The transactions currently supported are:
1. Deposits
2. Paid In
3. Paid Out
4. Gift Certificates Sold
5. Gift Certificates Redeemed
6. Refunds
7. Credit Card SettlementsThe reports available are:

4. Gift Certificates sold detail report
5. Gift Certificates redeemed detail report
