    Last edited: December 15, 2003 08:17 AM

SCRP3MUL is for a multiple store location where styling and management changes are done at the calling location, and sales functions are generated at the answering locations.  The night transfer calls all stores and is run from POLL.  The day transfer calls one store only as passed to it on the command line and therefore requires an entry in Choose for each store.
    At Office

      1. Create SXL directory and install Co-sessions XL.
      2. Create SXLPROG subdirectory and install the customer files.
      3. While in the SXL directory type SCALLID and create a phone directory entry with each application directory name.  Be sure to use all caps.
      4. In the CHOOSE main menu create an option called File Transfers and put the following entries in the sub-menu: Night Transfer  – C – SXLPROG – POLL
              Day Transfer    – C – SXLPROG – POLLMAN – (application)
(one day transfer option needed for each store)
      5. Create the remaining subdirectories to be used as buffer areas for the transfer as follows:

    SXL
        |
        |–PROG
        |
        |–(application)
        |      |
        |      |–MENU
        |      |
        |      |–DATA
        |
        |–(application)
            ||
            /
          (etc)

6.Edit POLL.BAT to specify the stores to poll.

7.At the DOS prompt run TIME and verify that the current time is correct.
    At Store

      1. Create HOST directory and install Co-sessions HOST.
      2. Create a customer subdirectory off of HOST with the same name as the Touchnet application directory and copy in the customer files.
      3. While in the HOST directory type in PHONE and make sure the DEFAULT entry has the correct modem and COM port settings.
      4. In the CHOOSE main menu create an option called File Transfers and put the following entries in the sub-menu:

        Night Transfer  – C – HOST(application) – ANSWER  – (application)
        Day Transfer    – C – HOST(application) – ANSWMAN – (application)
        End Day Transfer- C – HOST(application) – ENDMAN  – (application)

        5.  Create the remaining subdirectories to be used as buffer areas for the transfer as follows:

          HOST
            |
            |- (application)
                |
                |- DATA
                |
                |- REPORTS

        6. From the DOS prompt run TIME and verify that the current time is correct.
