The Javelin LC is a 586/133 color flat screen. It comes with touch screen, EIDE hard disk, two serial ports, one parallel port, and one ethernet port. Optional base, customer display, floppy disk, and mag stripe reader are also available. Javelin markets it as the NextDisplay LC. Windows95 with Internet Explorer is preloaded.

    CMOS Settings

To change the CMOS, reboot the computer and push Delete about once a second until the blue CMOS menu appears. Use the arrow keys to highlight the desired menu option and press Enter to select it. To change an option, use the arrow keys to highlight it, then use PageUp and PageDown to change it. Select Save Settings and Exit when done. The default CMOS configuration will work fine for Touch Menus products.
    Touch/Calibration

Elo Windows95 mouse emulation touch drivers come preloaded with the Javelin LC. It is unlikely that the screen will ever need calibration, however it can be done as follows:

      1. Select Start on the taskbar.
      2. Select Settings.
      3. Select Control Panel.
      4. Select Elo Touchscreens.
      5. Touch the Calibrate button, or press Enter on the keyboard.
      6. Touch three spots as prompted.
      7. A window will pop open asking if calibration is OK. You can touch outside the window or slide your finger around the screen as needed to verify calibration.
      8. If calibration is okay, touch the Yes button.
      9. Press OK on the Elo Touchscreen window to close it.

    Network

The network card is NE2000 compatible and is configured by CMOS settings. When installing Lantastic choose Novell 16-bit NE2000 for the adapter.
