    Laplink Tech For Windows 95/98

    Configuration

      1. Open up Laplink and run the Blank Screen Test
      2. Click on the Options tab
      3. Select Change Computer Name
      4. Name the computer according to the customers name
      5. Click on the OK button
      6. Click on the Options tab
      7. Select the Security from the pull down menu
      8. In the General section of the security section select the following:
          a. Under the Allow connections from section choose Anybody (Public System)
          b. Under the Public system privileges section Services put a check mark next to:
              1.  File Transfer
              2.  Remote Control
              3.  Text Chat
          c. Under the Locking section put a check mark next to all of the options:
              1. Blank Screen
              2. Disable Mouse
              3. Disable Keyboard
      9. Click no the Local Security tab:
          a. In the Local Password section
          b. Place a check mark next to the Protect Local Security With A Password
              1. Type in TOUCHM for the password
              2. When you are done click on the OK button
      10. Click on the OK button and you should be looking at the regular Laplink screen.

          NOTE: If you have any questions that are not answered in this document read the Users Manual.  The Users Manual is really informative.
