We have noticed on sites that have existing back office PC’s when A new file server has been installed and added to the existing network you will notice a “MRxSmb error”event 8003 in the event viewer. To force a PC from trying to become the master browser do the following. Run regedit, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlsetServicesBrowserParametersMaintainServerList    Change auto to yes or false.
