    PC-Wedge Bar Code Reader

The reader interfaces through the keyboard port.  There is a port for the regular keyboard on the wedge that will pass through all keyboard input.
    Styling

Styling is simply a matter of using the Activate Variable command to cause input from the bar code reader to be loaded into that variable.  After input is received a zone tied to the Enter key is used to hold instructions to continue execution upon completion of bar code input.
    Bar Code Types

The PC-Wedge will autodetect any of the commonly used bar code formats(Code 39,UPC,etc).  We use Code 39 in the creation of our cards but any format will work.  When coding the data on the cards remember that our application uses numerical data only for most of our bar code applications(employee #, customer acct #, etc.).    Additionally, a Carriage Return character(ASCII 13) should be the last character.  This allows our application to tie a zone to that key and continue execution after completion of bar code entry.
