MemberIf you havent heard enough from me yet………..Coffee is big in Seattle. I have designed a coffee database that meets the needs of every espresso stand on each and every street corner in the northwest and rapidly expanding across the US. Right now, Coffee Shop Manager is all these people have and like it or not………Coffee Fest is big. I would like to have this included just like the standard liquor database as I would like to go up against Coffee Shop Manager in this region. I am currently in pretty tight with an accountant at Starbucks corporate in Seattle. IBM is no where near what they need and although it would be a hard change, I don’t mind taking on the challenge. We literally have an espresso stand on every street corner out here and each of them sells coffee for 4.00 per cup all day long. You do the math.

MemberBryan,
Don’t worry about over posting, I’m exited to see things starting to pick up here!
I’ll answer this in two parts:
During the Win-EZ Manager install when the wizard asks for a database, you can provide the path to a local database backup(one that you created from within Win-EZ Manager). This was designed to allow you to substitute your own “Master” databases during the setup. Feel free to post, or contact your support person if you need more help with this.
That being said: The concept here is sound, and I think that having different databases available to dealers is a great idea.
Making dealer created downloads available from within Win-EZ Manager would create several issues, from managing the file names and downloads, to having to wait for new releases of Win-EZ Manager.
I think that the best way to handle this would be to have a section of the forum here where you can post databases that you think would help other dealer, and request databases from others.
I’ll give others a day or so to chime in on this, and then I’ll set up a section on the forum.
Feel free to post back, or contact me directly about this.

MemberRob,
Actually thats a great idea. It would be nice to be able to pull databases that are nearly what you need without all of the input. I was talking to Ron a while back about something he made for sushi bars and I meant to get a copy of whatever it was but just haven’t had the time. I have a sushi restaurant in downtown Seattle that has a sushi bar in it and the way they want things to report is really wierd.December 2, 2007 at 7:18 pm #1835Rob
