In order to simplify the set up and install of thin clients we have built A new loader. This consists of A USB device that is mountable, and is fully automated. The new image has A new GUI that will enable an installer to load and deploy thin clients with very little user input and no keyboard. Once the loader has installed the image on the thin client, simply boot the device on an actual Win-Ez network. You will bet prompted to calibrate the touch screen, then select a terminal # (node ID). To aid in diagnostics upon boot you will notice status messages on the loading screen. They are as follows:

[b:2wqhvhry]Setting Up Comms[/b:2wqhvhry][/color:2wqhvhry]
Setting up com ports

[b:2wqhvhry]Loading Touch Drivers[/b:2wqhvhry][/color:2wqhvhry]
Loading touch Drivers

[b:2wqhvhry]Loading TCP/IP[/b:2wqhvhry][/color:2wqhvhry]
Loading NIC Drivers and Loading TCP/IP Drivers

Connecting to File Server and Win-EZ Folders

This is where we stand as of now and these will change as we progress. From time to time new images will be posted to replace current ones. Simply download the new image and copy them directly over the current one. If you have any questions, or need further assistance please contact HDS support.
