    TM POS Software

TM is the POS product marketed by Touchmenus prior to the development of Touchnet.  It does not use Lantastic but runs in a master/slave configuration communicating through Com ports.  Data is kept on the floppy disk in the workstation drive.  Because the disk is continually accessed it needs to be replaced periodically.  Touchmenus supplies disks at no charge.  Menu changes can only be made by Touchmenus. As this is an obsolete product, the Customer Support Department can only provide minimal support.  Hardware is custom for each location.
    Floppy Disk Creation

      1. Create a formatted system disk.
      2. Copy all files from the MIN.DIR (N:TMMIN)- those would be:
                                      TMCONFIG.TMD
                                      TMFORMAT.TMD
                                      TMMENU.TMD
                                      TMPAGE.TMD
                                      TMTEXT.TMD
                                      TMTIBIT.TMD
              to the formatted system disk.
      3. Next copy the files from the appropriate application and node  (ie N:TMGENESSAT2) to the formatted disk.
                These files would be:
                                      AUTOEXEC.BAT
                                      MIDSTART.EXE
                                      MIDTSR.EXE
                                      TM.EXE
                                      MID2.MCF
                                      MID6.MCF
                                      MID6_MIN.MCF
                                      CONFIG.SYS
                                      HIMEM.SYS
                                      RAMDRIVE.SYS
