MemberSetting up the Touch dynamics All-In-One. This will require A[i:2769k98x][b:2769k98x] USB floppy drive[/b:2769k98x][/i:2769k98x]. Enter CMOS and set the device to boot from USB floppy save and exit. Plug in the USB floppy with a [i:2769k98x][b:2769k98x]bootable[/b:2769k98x][/i:2769k98x] floppy. Plug the thumb drive into one of the rear usb’s. Boot the unit. Once at the A: prompt, change to the c: drive , just to make sure it exists, then to the
drive. Launch GHOST. Select from image, then to disk. Select the appropriate GHO file (should be Win-EZ.GHO). Image to drive 1 (drive size should be 32/64 meg size). Once the image is loaded reboot the terminal without the floppy or thumb drive attached. Hit the F5 on boot. At the C:prompt type “50” then enter. Change to the touch directory. Edit touch.bat change the com from 1 to 2.(%DRIVE%:TOUCHELODEV %CONTROL%,[b:2769k98x]1[/size:2769k98x][/color:2769k98x][/b:2769k98x],9600 -C3556,517,570,3457,1,255). Save then reboot.
[b:2769k98x] [/b:2769k98x]NOTICE: The new version of BIOS for the all in one allows for boot strap options. Just press the F8 key on boot and select the usb device (No Need for the USB Floppy!!!).[/color:2769k98x]

MemberFYI…..The Touch Dynamic All-in-One uses a USB cardswipe. This works although there is some delay on swipe. The best solution would to use a keyboard wedge as opposed to the cardswipe ordered with the unit.
[b:kncztoxm][i:kncztoxm]Thanks Again Dean @ Tahoe Systems!!!!![/i:kncztoxm][/b:kncztoxm]

MemberPlease keep in mind that Touch Dynamics Recommends [b:12kqcsgd]NOT[/b:12kqcsgd] using [i:12kqcsgd][b:12kqcsgd]Samsung[/b:12kqcsgd][/i:12kqcsgd] printers on the internal power port. Follow this link to see the connections of the FS100 http://www.touchdynamic.com/images/FS100_IO_Ports.pdf

MemberI am very curious about the all in one. Once set up properly, how is the failure rate? Is it stable as compared to the blue sharks? I was considering taking that unit to the restaurant show in Seattle this year but don’t want to show something I won’t put out in the market. Im just curious. An all in one shows nicely but the show of the unit doesnt necessarily sell performance.
