US Robotics Sportster 14.4 Internal and External Modem

Configuration

Comit  – Select Robotics Courier V.32 Init string. Also set the MNP column on the dialing screen to none.
Host  – Select the US Robotics 14.4 Sportster setting.
Connection

Important!  The phone line must be plugged into the jack marked Telco, not phone.  If the phone cable is plugged into the phone port you will get a “no dial tone” message.
Internal

Set for COM4 IRQ3:  Jumper SEL and 3.  All other jumpers off.
External

Leave switches as factory default.  3,5,8 down(on). 1,2,4,6,7,off(up.)
