    This is a technical document explaining how to hook up the VOCS300 Order Entry Confirmation Board to a Touch Menus Control Unit “TMCU”.  We recommend and support the VOCS300 Order Entry Confirmation Board when used with OrderUp.  The VOCS300 is a full-duplex speaker post which also contains a video order confirmation system.  It houses separate speaker, microphone (optional) and video display units.

    VOCS300 SPECIFICATIONS

    Cabinet Dimensions         49½”H X 8″ W X 9″D

    Speaker Unit Power Input         6 watts, 8 ohms
                    Frequency Response 300 – 11,000 Hz
                    Dimensions      7 5/8″H X 5½”W X 5½”D

    Video Display Dimensions 12″H X 71/4″W X 5½”D

    These are the settings that you would use for the wires using DB9 connectors:

    Red=8                  Red=8

    Now you need to change the setting on the COM port. To do this fallow these steps:

      1. Go into Settings
      2. Go into control panel
      3. Go to system and double click on it
      4. Go to the device manager tab
      5. Choose com ports
      6. Highlight com1
      7. Click on the properties tab
      8. Choose the port settings tab
      9. Go to flow control
      10. Change it from Xon /Xoff to HARDWARE
