As of 6/11/2007 Win-EZ POS is Vista compatible!

Win-EZ P.O.S. Software:

The current release of Win-EZ Manager (2.27) was built in Vista, and is 100% compatible.

The current release of Win-EZ Credit Card (1.11) was built in Vista, and is 100% compatible.

The current release of Win-EZ Printing (1.03) was built in Vista, and is 100% compatible.

As a file server there are several settings that need to be changed, including the folder structure and sharing methods, but we have successfully set up a Vista machine as a file server without any major problems. We will be outline the changes soon.

Third Party software issues:

The only problems that I am currently aware of is NETePay.

On 6/7/07 I spoke to Gale Peters at Data Cap, and was told that the work to make NETePay compatible was done, and would be released into each platform as clients asked for it. If you want to use Vista and are planning on using NETePay, then you should contact Data Cap to make sure that the platform that you want is available.
